BAHASA YANG DIGUNAKAN MALAIKAT MUNKAR DAN NAKIR
- Malaikat Munkar dan Nakir akan bertanya kepada ahli kubur menggunakan bahasa yang biasa digunakan oleh orang tersebut sehari-hari saat masih hidup di dunia. Hal ini bertujuan agar ahli kubur dapat memahami pertanyaan dengan jelas.
Pertanyaan yang Diajukan
- Para malaikat akan menanyakan hal-hal fundamental mengenai keimanan, antara lain:- Siapa Tuhanmu?
- Apa Agamamu?
- Siapa Nabimu?
- Apa Kiblatmu?
- Siapa saudaramu?
- Apa pedoman/imammu?
- Bagaimana jalan hidup dan amalmu?
- Apa pendapatmu mengenai Nabi Muhammad SAW?
Jawaban Orang Beriman
- Orang yang beriman akan dapat menjawab dengan tegas dan benar, menegaskan bahwa Allah adalah Tuhan, Islam adalah agama, dan Nabi Muhammad adalah utusan Allah.
- Sebagai balasan, malaikat akan memintanya untuk beristirahat dengan tenang "sebagaimana tidurnya pengantin" hingga hari kiamat tiba.
Jawaban Orang Kafir dan Munafik
- Sebaliknya, orang kafir dan munafik akan merasa panik, bingung, dan diliputi ketakutan.
- Mereka tidak mampu menjawab dengan benar dan hanya akan mengatakan, "Aku tidak tahu"

THE LANGUAGE USED BY THE ANGELS MUNKAR AND NAKIR
- The Angels Munkar and Nakir will question the deceased using the language that the person commonly spoke in daily life while still alive in the world. This is so that the deceased can understand the questions clearly.
The Questions Asked
- The angels will ask fundamental matters regarding faith, including:- Who is your Lord?
- What is your religion?
- Who is your Prophet?
- What is your Qiblah (direction of prayer)?
- Who are your brothers/sisters?
- What is your guide/Imam?
- What is your way of life and your deeds?
- What is your opinion regarding the Prophet Muhammad SAW?
The Answer of a Believer
- A believer will be able to answer firmly and correctly, confirming that Allah is the Lord, Islam is the religion, and Prophet Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
- In response, the angels will tell them to rest peacefully "like the sleep of a bride/groom" until the Day of Judgment arrives.
The Answer of Disbelievers and Hypocrites
- In contrast, disbelievers and hypocrites will feel panic, confusion, and overwhelming fear.
- They will not be able to answer correctly and will only say, "I do not know"
DALIL
ويسألان كل إنسان بلغته ويقولان له من ربك وما دينك ومن نبيك وما قبلتك ومن إخوتك وما إمامك وما منهاجك وما عملك
Artinya: Keduanya (malaikat Munkar dan Nakir) bertanya kepada setiap ahli kubur dengan bahasa yang bersangkutan. Keduanya bertanya, "Siapa tuhanmu? Apa agamamu? Siapa nabimu? Apa kiblatmu? Meaning: Both (the Angels Munkar and Nakir) ask every deceased person in their respective language. They ask, "Who is your Lord? What is your religion? Who is your Prophet? What is your Qiblah? Who are your brothers? What is your Imam? What is your way of life? What are your deeds?" والمؤمن يقول لهما ربي الله وحده لا شريك له والإسلام ديني ومحمد نبي وهو خاتم النبيين والكعبة قبلتي والمؤمنون إخوتي والقرآن إمامي والسنة منهاجي وأنا قرأت كتاب الله فآمنت به وصدقته ويقولان له إذا وفق للجواب صدقت ونم نوم العروس الذي لا يوقظه إلا أحب الناس إليه
Artinya: Orang mukmin menjawab keduanya, "Tuhanku adalah Allah yang maha esa, tiada sekutu bagi-Nya. Islam agamaku. Muhammad adalah nabiku, ia penutup para nabi. Ka’bah adalah kiblatku. Orang-orang mukmin adalah saudaraku. Al-Qur’an adalah imamku. Sunnah rasul adalah jalan hidupku. Aku membaca kitabullah, dan beriman serta membenarkannya. Kedua malaikat itu berkata kepada ahli kubur yang beriman itu ketika mendapat taufiq untuk menjawabnya: Kau benar. Meaning: The believer answers them both, "My Lord is Allah, the One and Only, there is no partner unto Him. Islam is my religion. Muhammad is my Prophet, he is the Seal of the Prophets. The Kaaba is my Qiblah. The believers are my brothers. The Quran is my guide. The Sunnah of the Messenger is my way of life. I read the Book of Allah, and I believe in and affirm its truth." The two angels then say to the believing soul who is granted the ability to answer correctly: "You have spoken the truth. Sleep now like the sleep of a bride and groom, whom none shall wake except the one most beloved to them."

وفي رواية البخاري ومسلم إنهما يقولان له ما كنت تقول في هذا النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم فيقول المؤمن اشهد أنه عبد الله ورسوله انتهى وأما الكافر والمنافق فيحصل لهما رعب فيقولان لهما هاه هاه لا أدري
Artinya: Dalam riwayat Al-Bukhari dan Muslim, kedua malaikat itu bertanya kepada ahli kubur,"Apa pendapatmu perihal nabi ini, Nabi Muhammad SAW?’ Ahli kubur yang beriman itu menjawab keduanya, ‘Saksikanlah bahwa dia (Nabi Muhammad SAW) itu hamba dan utusan Allah. Selesai. Adapun orang kafir dan munafik diliputi rasa takut. Meaning: According to the narration of Al-Bukhari and Muslim, the two angels ask the deceased, "What is your opinion regarding this Prophet, Prophet Muhammad SAW?" The believing deceased answers them, "Bear witness that he (Prophet Muhammad SAW) is the servant and Messenger of Allah." That is all. As for the disbelievers and hypocrites, they are overwhelmed by fear. They (the disbelievers and hypocrites) answer: "Oh, oh, I do not know."
