- Orang yang menikah kemudian berzina hukumnya rajam
- Orang yang membunuh dan murtad (setelah proses permintaan taubat) masuk dalam kategori yang diperbolehkan darahnya ditumpahkan
5. Catatan Penting: Segala tindakan harus berdasarkan koridor hukum dan wewenang pemerintah, bukan main hakim sendiri. Wallahu a’lam bis shawab

MUSLIM BLOOD IS FORBIDDEN
1. Profile of Companion Ibn Mas’ud: His name was Abu Abdurrahman Abdullah bin Ummi Abd Al-Hudzali. He was an early companion who embraced Islam, participated in the Battle of Badr, was a scholar of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), memorized 70 chapters (surahs) of the Quran directly from the Prophet Muhammad SAW, and passed away in Medina in the 32nd year of the Hijri calendar (H) at the age of 60.
2. Hadith Statement: The blood of a Muslim is forbidden to be shed except for three Sharia-compliant reasons, namely:
- A married person who commits adultery (zina)
- A person who commits murder (and is married)
- A person who abandons their religion and leaves the Muslim community (apostate/murtad)
3. General Explanation: In general, the act of killing a Muslim is forbidden, unless it meets one of the three criteria mentioned above.
4. Lessons from the Hadith (according to notes by Sheikh Ustaimin in 'Syarh Arba’in'):
- Shedding Muslim blood is forbidden, or it is obligatory to respect the life of a Muslim
- The blood of non-Muslims is permissible to shed except for those with a peace agreement, dhimmi non-Muslims (those living safely in a Muslim state under its protection), and musta’min (those who come to an Islamic state peacefully for trade or other purposes)
- The Prophet taught an engaging method of conveying information through categorizing matters
- A married person who commits adultery is to be punished by stoning (rajam)
- Those who commit murder and apostates (after a process of requesting repentance) fall into the category where their blood may be shed
5. Important Note: All actions must be carried out within the framework of the law and under the authority of the government, not by taking the law into one’s own hands. Allah knows best (Wallahu a’lam bis shawab)
