Surat Al-Qodar mengisahkan keistimewaan malam yang sangat mulia, yaitu Lailatul Qodar. Berikut adalah penjelasan poin pentingnya dengan bahasa yang mudah dipahami pemula:
1. Keutamaan Ibadah di Malam Lailatul Qodar
Lailatul Qodar memiliki nilai yang jauh lebih tinggi dibandingkan seribu bulan (sekitar 83 tahun 4 bulan). Artinya, setiap ibadah yang dilakukan di malam ini akan mendapatkan pahala yang lebih besar daripada ibadah yang dilakukan selama seribu bulan di luar malam tersebut. Ini menunjukkan betapa luar biasa keberkahan yang terkandung dalam malam tersebut.
2. Kedatangan Malaikat Jibril dan Salam dari Allah SWT
Pada malam Lailatul Qodar, Malaikat Jibril turun ke bumi membawa empat bendera yang akan ditancapkan di empat tempat suci: makam Nabi Muhammad SAW, atas Baitul Maqdis, atas Masjidil Haram, dan atas Gunung Turisina. Setelah itu, Jibril masuk ke setiap rumah orang yang beriman (baik laki-laki maupun perempuan) untuk memberikan salam dari Allah SWT. Namun, ada tiga kelompok yang tidak mendapatkan salam tersebut: orang yang mabuk karena minum khomr (minuman keras yang dilarang), orang yang sengaja memutus hubungan silaturahmi dengan saudara atau kerabat, dan orang yang memakan daging babi.
3. Penetapan dan Pemberian Qodar
Para malaikat yang berada di Sidrotul Muntaha (tempat tertinggi alam semesta) turun pada malam tersebut dengan membawa ketetapan (Qodar) untuk setiap makhluk di tahun yang akan datang. Menurut salah satu hadits, Allah SWT menetapkan Qodar seluruh makhluk pada malam Baro'ah (malam pertengahan bulan Sya'ban), kemudian pada malam Lailatul Qodar, malaikat ditugaskan untuk memberikan ketetapan tersebut kepada masing-masing makhluk.
4. Keselamatan dan Anugerah dari Allah SWT
Menurut Imam Ibnu Abbas dalam kitab Albahr, malam Lailatul Qodar adalah waktu yang penuh keselamatan. Selama malam ini hingga terbitnya fajar, setiap orang yang beriman akan terlindungi dari segala hal yang ditakuti dan segala bentuk keburukan. Surah Al-Qadr tells of the excellence of a most noble night, namely Lailatul Qadr. Below is an explanation of its key points in language that is easy for beginners to understand:
1. The Merit of Worship on Lailatul Qadr Night
Lailatul Qadr is far more valuable than a thousand months (approximately 83 years and 4 months). This means that every act of worship performed on this night will earn greater reward than worship carried out over a thousand months outside of it. This shows how extraordinary the blessings contained in this night are.
2. The Arrival of Angel Jibril and Greetings from Allah SWT
On the night of Lailatul Qadr, Angel Jibril descends to earth carrying four flags that will be planted at four sacred locations: the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, atop Baitul Maqdis (the Temple Mount), atop Masjidil Haram (the Sacred Mosque in Mecca), and atop Mount Turisina. After that, Jibril enters the home of every believer (both men and women) to convey greetings from Allah SWT. However, there are three groups who do not receive these greetings: those intoxicated by drinking khomr (forbidden alcoholic beverages), those who deliberately cut off ties of silaturahmi (brotherhood/kinship) with relatives, and those who consume pork.
3. The Determination and Bestowal of Qadr
The angels who reside at Sidrotul Muntaha (the highest point in the universe) descend on that night carrying decrees (Qadr) for every creature in the coming year. According to one hadith, Allah SWT determines the Qadr of all creatures on the night of Baro'ah (the middle of the month of Sha'ban), then on Lailatul Qadr night, the angels are tasked with bestowing these decrees upon each creature.
