- Sering kita sholat di belakang imam yang bacaan Al-Fatihahnya sangat cepat, sementara bacaan kita biasa saja.
- Akibatnya, makmum sering kali tidak sempat menyelesaikan bacaan Al-Fatihah dengan sempurna.
2. Status Hukum
- Dalam kondisi seperti ini, makmum dianggap sebagai Masbuq (tertinggal), meskipun hal itu terjadi di semua rakaat (dari awal sampai akhir).
3. Solusi dan Cara Mengatasinya
- Makmum cukup membaca Al-Fatihah sebisanya saja.
- Begitu imam masuk rukuk, makmum wajib segera ikut rukuk.
- Sisa bacaan Al-Fatihah yang belum selesai dianggap gugur, karena sudah ditanggung oleh bacaan imam.
4. Kesimpulan
- Jadi, status masbuq tidak hanya terjadi di rakaat pertama saja, tapi bisa terjadi di setiap rakaat jika kondisinya demikian.

PRAYING BEHIND AN IMAM WHO RECITES QUICKLY
1. Common Situation
- Often, we pray behind an Imam who recites Al-Fatihah very quickly, while our own recitation is at a normal pace.
- As a result, the follower (ma'mum) often does not have enough time to complete the recitation of Al-Fatihah perfectly.
2. Legal Ruling
- In this situation, the follower is considered Masbuq (one who is left behind), even if this happens in all rak'ahs (from the beginning to the end).
3. Solution and Procedure
- The follower only needs to recite Al-Fatihah as much as they can.
- As soon as the Imam goes into rukuk (bowing), the follower must immediately follow him.
- The remaining part of Al-Fatihah that was not completed is considered dropped/abolished, as it is already covered by the Imam's recitation.
4. Conclusion
- Therefore, the status of masbuq does not only apply to the first rak'ah, but can occur in every rak'ah if the conditions are like this.

وَلَوْ اقْتَدَى بِإِمَامٍ سَرِيعِ الْقِرَاءَةِ عَلَى خِلَافِ الْعَادَةِ، وَالْمَأْمُومُ مُعْتَدِلُهَا، وَكَانَ فِي قِيَامِ كُلِّ رَكْعَةٍ لَا يُدْرِكُ مَعَ الْإِمَامِ زَمَنًا يَسَعُ الْفَاتِحَةَ مِنَ الْوَسَطِ الْمُعْتَدِلِ، فَهُوَ مَسْبُوقٌ فِي كُلِّ رَكْعَةٍ فَيَقْرَأُ مِنَ الْفَاتِحَةِ مَا أَدْرَكَهُ، وَإِذَا رَكَعَ إِمَامُهُ رَكَعَ مَعَهُ وَسَقَطَ عَنْهُ بَاقِي الْفَاتِحَةِ لِتَحَمُّلِ الْإِمَامِ لَهُ، وَعَلَى هَذَا فَيُمْكِنُ سُقُوطُ بَعْضِ الْفَاتِحَةِ عَنْهُ فِي كُلِّ رَكْعَةٍ
Jika ia mengikuti imam yang membaca dengan cepat, bertentangan dengan kebiasaannya, dan makmum membaca dengan kecepatan sedang, dan dalam posisi berdiri dan ia (makmum) tidak cukup cepat dalam membaca fatihah, maka ia dianggap tertinggal dari rakaat pertama sampai akhir (makmum masbuq). Ia harus membaca Al-Fatihah semampu nya, dan ketika imamnya rukuk, ia harus rukuk bersamanya, dan sisa Al-Fatihah yang di tinggalkan (kalah cepat) karena kemampuan imam. maka imam menanggungnya. Imam bertanggung jawab atasnya, dan berdasarkan hal ini, makmum masbuq di semua rakaat
If one follows an Imam who recites quickly, contrary to his usual habit, while the follower recites at a moderate pace, and while standing, he (the follower) is not fast enough to complete Al-Fatihah, then he is considered left behind from the first rak'ah until the end (Ma'mum Masbuq).
