SEJARAH AWAL MULA EMAS DAN PERAK BERHARGA

ALASAN KENAPA EMAS DAN PERAK MENJADI BENDA YANG SANGAT BERHARGA

 

Diriwayatkan bahwa Nabi Muhammad SAW bersabda:

 

Ketika Allah SWT menurunkan Nabi Adam AS dari surga ke bumi, segala sesuatu yang ada di sekitarnya merasa sedih. Namun, ada pengecualian pada dua benda, yaitu Emas dan Perak, yang sama sekali tidak menunjukkan rasa sedih.

 

Melihat hal tersebut, Allah SWT mewahyukan kepada keduanya:

"Sesungguhnya Aku pernah menempatkan kalian bertetangga dengan hamba-Ku (Nabi Adam). Ketika ia diturunkan, semua makhluk bersedih, kecuali kalian berdua. Mengapa demikian?"

 

Emas dan Perak menjawab:

"Wahai Tuhan kami, Engkau Maha Mengetahui. Dulu kami bertetangga dengannya saat ia taat kepada-Mu, maka kami senang. Namun ketika ia bermaksiat dan durhaka kepada-Mu, maka kami tidak bisa bersedih atau menyayanginya lagi."

 

Mendengar jawaban yang tegas dan lurus tersebut, Allah SWT berfirman:

"Demi keagungan dan kemuliaan-Ku, sungguh akan Aku muliakan kalian berdua, hingga segala sesuatu di muka bumi tidak akan dapat diperoleh kecuali melalui kalian berdua."

 

Hikmah di Balik Kemuliaan Emas dan Perak

 

Emas dan Perak menjadi sangat berharga karena mereka memegang prinsip yang tegas: "Setia pada Ketaatan kepada Allah".

 

Mereka tidak bersedih saat Nabi Adam diturunkan karena mereka tidak mendukung kemaksiatan. Karena sikap tegas inilah, Allah menghargai keduanya dengan menjadikannya standar nilai tertinggi dan alat tukar utama bagi manusia hingga saat ini.

WHY GOLD AND SILVER BECAME HIGHLY VALUABLE ITEMS

 

It is narrated that the Prophet Muhammad SAW said:

 

When Allah SWT sent down Prophet Adam AS from Paradise to the earth, everything around him felt deep sadness. However, there were two exceptions: Gold and Silver, who showed no sadness at all.

 

Seeing this, Allah SWT revealed to them:

 

"Indeed, I placed you both as neighbors to My servant (Prophet Adam). When he was sent down, all creatures grieved except you two. Why is that?"

 

Gold and Silver answered:

 

"O our Lord, You know best. We were neighbors with him when he was obedient to You, so we were happy. But when he disobeyed and rebelled against You, we could not feel sadness or affection for him anymore."

 

Upon hearing this firm and upright answer, Allah SWT declared:

 

"By My Majesty and Glory, I will surely honor you both, so that everything on the face of this earth can only be obtained through you both."

 

The Wisdom Behind the Honor of Gold and Silver

 

Gold and Silver became so precious because they held a firm principle: "Loyalty only to Obedience to Allah."

 

They did not grieve when Prophet Adam was sent down because they did not support sin and disobedience. Because of this firm stance, Allah rewarded them by making them the highest standard of value and the main medium of exchange for mankind until today.

DALIL

رُوِيَ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : لَمَّا أَهْبَطَ اللّٰهُ آدَمَ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ حَزِنَ عَلَيْهِ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ جَاوَرَهُ إِلَّا الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ، فَأَوْحَى اللّٰهُ إِلَيْهِمَا : إِنِّي جَاوَرْتُكُمَا بِعَبْدٍ مِنْ عَبِيدِي ثُمَّ أَهْبَطْتُهُ مِنْ جِوَارِكُمَا، فَحَزِنَ عَلَيْهِ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ جَاوَرَهُ إِلَّا أَنْتُمَا، فَقَالَا : إِلٰهَنَا وَسَيِّدَنَا، أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ جَاوَرْتَنَا بِهِ وَهُوَ لَكَ مُطِيعٌ، فَلَمَّا عَصَاكَ لَمْ نَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِ، فَأَوْحَى اللّٰهُ إِلَيْهِمَا : وَعِزَّتِي وَجَلَالِي لَأُعِزَّنَّكُمَا حَتَّى لَا يَنَالَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا بِكُمَا ( رَوَاهُ الدَّيْلَمِيُّ )

Diriwayatkan bahwa Nabi Muhammad shallallahu alaihi wa sallam bersabda: Ketika Allah menurunkan Adam dari surga ke bumi, segala sesuatu yang ada di bumi berduka cita kecuali emas dan perak. Maka Allah mewahyukan kepada mereka: “Aku telah menempatkan salah seorang hamba-Ku di muka bumi, kemudian Aku menurunkannya hidup bersama kalian, dan segala sesuatu yang ada di sana berduka cita kecuali kalian” Mereka berkata: “Ya Tuhan kami, Engkau Maha Mengetahui bahwa Engkau telah membawanya kepada kami dalam keadaan taat kepada-Mu, dan ketika ia durhaka kepada-Mu, kami tidak bisa tidak berduka cita atasnya. Maka Allah mewahyukan kepada mereka: Demi kekuatan dan kemuliaan-Ku, Aku pasti akan memuliakan kalian berdua sehingga tidak ada sesuatu pun yang dapat dicapai kecuali melalui kalian (jual beli dll)"

It is narrated that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

 

"When Allah sent down Adam from Paradise to the earth, everything on earth mourned for him except Gold and Silver.

 

So Allah revealed to them: 'I have placed one of My servants, and I have brought him to live among you. Everything there mourns for him, except you two. Why is that?'

 

They said: 'O our Lord, You know best. You brought him to us while he was obedient to You. But when he disobeyed You, we could not feel sorrow or affection for him anymore.'

 

Then Allah revealed to them: 'By My Power and Glory, I will surely honor you both, so that nothing can be obtained or achieved except through you' (such as in buying, selling, and transactions)"
