BUMI MEMANGGIL MANUSIA DALAM KITAB TIAP HARI

5 SERUAN BUMI SETIAP HARI KEPADA MANUSIA

 

Bumi tempat kita berpijak ternyata setiap hari menyampaikan pesan peringatan sebanyak lima kali kepada kita, anak cucu Adam. Pesan ini tercatat dalam kitab Tanbihul Ghafilin halaman 14, mengingatkan kita pada hakikat kehidupan yang sering terlupakan:

 

1. "Wahai anak Adam, engkau berjalan di atas punggungku, namun kelak engkau akan kembali dan berada di dalam perutku."

2. "Wahai anak Adam, engkau menikmati berbagai makanan yang tumbuh di atasku, namun kelak tubuhmu akan dimakan ulat di dalam perutku."

3. "Wahai anak Adam, engkau sering tertawa riang di atasku, namun kelak engkau akan menangis pilu sendirian di dalam perutku."

4. "Wahai anak Adam, engkau bersuka cita merayakan kebahagiaan di atasku, namun kelak engkau akan berduka dan terasing di dalam perutku."

5. "Wahai anak Adam, engkau melakukan berbagai perbuatan dosa di atasku, namun kelak engkau akan menerima balasan dan siksaan di dalam perutku."

 

Semoga seruan ini menjadi pengingat agar kita tidak terlalu terpaku pada kesenangan dunia sementara, melainkan bersiap menyiapkan bekal untuk kehidupan yang kekal kelak.

5 DAILY CALLS OF THE EARTH TO HUMANITY

 

The very earth we walk upon calls out five times each day as a reminder to us, the children of Adam. This message is recorded in the classical work Tanbihul Ghafilin (page 14), awakening us to truths about life that we so often overlook:

 

1. "O child of Adam, you walk upon my back, but in the end you will return to rest within my depths."

2. "O child of Adam, you enjoy all manner of food that grows upon me, yet one day your own body will feed the worms within me."

3. "O child of Adam, you laugh and rejoice openly upon me, but soon you will weep alone in sorrow within me."

4. "O child of Adam, you celebrate and delight in your joys upon me, yet you will soon know grief and isolation within me."

5. "O child of Adam, you commit every kind of wrong and sin upon me, but you will face your account and recompense within me."

 

May these words serve as a gentle reminder: do not cling too tightly to the fleeting pleasures of this world. Instead, prepare good deeds and righteousness now as provision for the eternal life that follows
